SaltX Technology won Growth Company of the Year and the Industry’s Award in Serendipity Challenge 2017 – Sweden's largest entrepreneurship competition for start-up and growth companies. Out of 400 Nordic contributions, 50 companies competed in the final held in Visby, Gotland, where SaltX took home two prizes.

Serendipity Challenge is an entrepreneurial competition for startup and growth companies. An expert panel selects 50 companies among 400 grants, which will cover the finals during Almedalsveckan. 24 of the companies will be part of a jury of well-reputed Swedish investors, entrepreneurs and innovation experts, where since "Startup Company of the Year" and "Growth of the Year" respectively. The winners of each category receive a $ 200,000 growth package and a seat in the winning delegation to Silicon Valley.
